Scribblers Art Class

| In a Scribblers class 2 to 4 year olds and their carer are able to experience all the excitement of a creative art class with lots of active, often messy fun. We draw, paint, cut, paste, thread, stamp, print, model with clay, and lots more. In a class you could see us flying, slithering or stomping, then painting, making a mask or threading beads onto a caterpillar. Scribblers is part of the Australian designed ZoomArt programme that introduces kids to media, tools and experiences in the visual arts. We use stories, games and drama to complement the term’s theme and to provide a stimulating interactive setting. progressively and intentionally builds skills in an environment of guided experimentation, encouragement and play. Scribblers is a fun way for siblings to enjoy a class together. | |
Term 1 2012 - LITTLE TIME TRAVELLERS Each week we’ll have fun with a different time in a little one’s life. Mealtimes, sleep time, playtime, games, holidays, and special events. We’ll make lots of special art and craft, play games, learn rhymes, hear stories and more. Join us as we explore our world with paint, glue, stamps, clay and other messy fun. |

| Term 2 2012 - MARVELLOUS ME This unit is about people, we can be anyone we’d like to be. We’ll make costumes, masks, hats, and belts and have fun dressing up.We’ll hear stories and play games, we’ll paint, print, stamp, glue, cut, and more as we celebrate our imaginations and a very“marvellous me”. |
